CALL FOR PROJECTS!
This is the official call for projects for drought funding through the Proposition 84 IRWM (Integrated Regional Water Management) Drought Emergency Funding. (See my April 11, 2014 email for background on this program.)
If you are proposing a project for funding in the Ventura River Watershed, below are your instructions.
1. Submit to me via email by 5:00 pm Friday, April 25th, 2014:
- the completed Excel form with your project’s details,
- a one page (maximum) project description including any information that explains why your project fits the Proposal Solicitation Packet and Guidelines criteria, and
- a 8½ x 11 inch project location map.
2. Prepare a 5-minute presentation to present at the Watershed Council meeting on May 8, 2014. This meeting is scheduled from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and will be held in the Topping Room of the EP Foster Library, 651 E. Main Street, Ventura.
If the Watershed Council recommends your project for consideration by the Watersheds Coalition of Ventura County Steering Committee, then you’ll be asked to provide your presentation at their meeting on Monday, May 12th, 2014 at 9:30 am. You may also be asked to answer written questions from the Steering Committee between May 8th and May 12th.
