Coastal Storm Modeling System – CoSMoS Initial Results Webinar Recordings Available

USC Sea Grant, in partnership with the US Geological Survey, held webinars for Southern California coastal practitioners to provide an overview of the Coastal Storm Modeling System (CoSMoS) and preview the initial results. Webinar recordings are available for viewing on the USC Sea Grant website and focus on results for the Santa Barbara/Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego regions. Initial CoSMoS results provide flood hazard zones for a 100-year storm with four sea level rise scenarios, as well as results from the coastal cliff retreat and shoreline change models. Results are available for download on the USGS CoSMoS Website.
