March 3 Evening Council Meeting.

The next meeting of the Watershed Council will be this Thursday, March 3rd from 6pm to 8pm, at the Oak View Community Center, 18 Valley Rd. Oak View, Ca 93022.

Agenda highlights: Come to hear about what you can do to stop the spread of a pest that is killing avocado trees and riparian vegetation in the watershed. We will also have presentations about agricultural water quality improvements and a coordinated giant reed removal program.

Ventura LAFCo Agricultural Mitigation Workshop Thursday March 23rd

The Ventura Local Agency Formation Commission will be holding the second workshop to discuss and potentially take action regarding the potential development of agricultural mitigation policies to be incorporated into the Ventura LAFCo Commissioner’s Handbook.
